While attending college to earn his BBA in Business Management, Christopher LaSpada worked as a part-time liquor store manager summers and winters in western New Jersey. It is there he learned the beauty of craft beer and all it has to offer. After college his passion continued and his curiosity expanded to the point where he became interested in Homebrewing his own beer. As a lover of food and cooking, Chris believed he couldn’t further appreciate/grow his love of craft beer until he understood how each ingredient influenced the eventual outcome. He now homebrews beer year-round and uses various techniques to highlight an ingredient, specific style of beer or a new unique brewing process. Chris creates all his recipes from scratch and brews each beer to honor one of his friends or family members who have influenced him in some way or another. One day Chris hopes to fulfill his dream of opening a brewpub to serve both his great beer and food creations to his friends, family and the surrounding community. “Life is too short to drink bad (or even average) beer…”
Christopher has written 7 articles for The Beer Sessions.
